Registration for District Baseball & Softball is open!
District tryouts for baseball players ages 9 – 12 years old will be held on Saturday May 30th, 2026 (Rain Date: Sunday May 31st) at East Granby Farms
12U Team (Baseball Age 12) -Saturday May 30th, check-in begins at 1:00pm & starts promptly at 1:30pm
11U Team (Baseball Age 11) Saturday May 30th, check-in begins at 2:30pm & starts promptly at 3:00pm
10U Team (Baseball Age 9 & 10)-Sunday May 30th, check-in begins at 4:00pm & starts promptly at 4:30pm
District tryouts for softball players on both 10u & 12u teams will be held on Thursday, May 28th on Field 1 at Salmon Brook Park. Please bring a completed school enrollment form & birth certificate with you to the tryouts.

When you bring your child to the assessment, you must bring the following items. Please read carefully:

For the Verification form:
Proof of Age Section - bring a real birth certificate. Out League President, Greg Dion, will securely hold onto the birth certificates until the affidavit night and then return to you. If your child does not make the team, Greg (EGGLL President) will make plans with you to return it before that.
Residency Proof or School Enrollment Section:
You do not have to do both! We highly recommend the School Enrollment form. Have your child's school principal sign the form and bring that with the verification form. You do not have to do the residency proof with 3 items (one from each group) if you have the school form.
If you choose not to do the school form or your child does not attend and East Granby or Granby Public School, then you must do the residency proof and bring one item from each of the groups. The school form can be found here.
