EGGLL Open Non-Executive Board Positions:

Baseball Equipment Coordinator- The Baseball Equipment Manager shall:

  • Secure bids for and purchase all baseball equipment - baseball, catcher's equipment, etc;
  • Order and maintain all equipment to ensure that it meets Little League standards;
  • Maintain and inventory storage shed
  • With the assistance of the League Coordinators, will distribute all equipment and ensure that the equipment is returned after seasons are complete.

Softball Equipment Coordinator- The Softball Equipment Manager shall:

  • Secure bids for and purchase all softball equipment - softballs, catcher's equipment, etc;
  • Order and maintain all equipment to ensure that it meets Little League standards;
  • With the assistance of the League Coordinators, will distribute all equipment and ensure that the equipment is returned after seasons are complete.

Scheduler Baseball - The Scheduler Baseball shall:

  • Prepare the game and practice schedule for the various leagues;
  • Communicate the rainout reschedule policy to League Coordinators and Coaches;
  • Coordinate rainouts and other rescheduling matters with League Coordinators and Coaches; and
  • Coordinate scheduling of practice fields according to Executive Board approved goals and priorities if and when field availability permits.

Baseball Field Maintenance Coordinator - The Baseball Field Maintenance Coordinator shall:

  • Coordinate with the Town of Granby on weekly field maintenance activities, including pre-season, tournament and fall season field preparation.
  • Work with the Safety Officer to ensure that all structures and fences are safe and working properly.
  • Report and make recommendations to the Executive Board, regarding field, structure, and fencing improvements.
  • Coordinate end of the year annual maintenance items, i.e. removal of netting.
  • Oversee individual field coordinators and ensure individual field maintenance efforts are consistent with EGGLL objectives and priorities.

Uniform Coordinator – The Uniform Coordinator shall:

  • Work with uniform vendor on purchasing all baseball and softball shirts, hats, etc. for all players and coaches
  • Work with Information Officer and Sponsorship Coordinator to ensure correct shirt sizing and teams sponsors are set for uniforms prior to cutoff time
  • Work to distribute uniforms to each team and ensure sizing and quantity
