Fall Baseball 2025

This fall EGGLL is once again offering our Sandlot Nights Baseball. This is a FREE baseball program to give kids ages 8-12 the opportunity to hone their skills and have fun at the same time. We are purposely making it less structured to give the kids the opportunity to make decisions and become leaders, harkening back to the sandlot days of the old where groups would gather and play.

Although this is a free program, players must be registered to participate. Because Fall is a busy time, we realize that families have other priorities and commitments - if you can only make a handful of the dates, we still encourage you to register for the program and attend when you are able. Parents can choose the division they feel is best suited for their child, but coaches reserve the right to move players based on safety concerns. Both divisions will start on Monday September 8^th and run until Friday October 17^th.

10–12-YEAR-OLD DIVISION

This group is for players who will be baseball age 10-12 in the Spring 2025 and are aspiring to play Majors or played majors previously. The coach will lead players through warm-ups and a skill activity to get the evening started. After skill work, players will create their own teams and play a game. They will have the opportunity to create the lineups, decide who is playing where and make the umpiring calls during the game.

8–10-YEAR-OLD DIVISION

This group is for players who will be baseball age 8-10 in the Spring 2025 season and will be playing AA or AAA. The coach will lead players through warm-ups and a skill activity to get the evening started. After skill work, players will create their own teams and play a game. They will have the opportunity to create the lineups, decide who is playing where and make the umpiring calls during the game.
