EGGLL 2025 Important Dates & Information

Greetings EGGLL Families,

 

We hope you are getting excited for the 2025 Spring season!

 

Here are a few important dates & updates going into this week:

 

Pre-assessment clinics are coming up on 2/23 & 3/2:

• Baseball clinics are currently FULL, but players may join the waitlist

• Softball clinics have limited remaining space so register today!

 

Player assessments for the 2025 season on 3/8:

• Take place at Granby High School turf fields

• March 8th, with a rain date of March 9th

• Exact times will be shared soon.

 

Coach’s meeting - 2/26 @7:30 at the East Granby Community Center:

• This information session is for all prospective coaches and volunteers for the 2025 season.

 

Spring 2025 registration for baseball & softball closes on March 1st:

• Visit our website or click HERE to register

• Please be sure to visit the baseball and softball sections of our website for an in-depth overview of each program level.  This will help determine the best option for your child. 

• Make sure to reference the official Little League age charts on our website for baseball and softball when registering.

• The additional volunteer fee of $75 per family is assessed at the time of registration.  This fee is intended to help the league cover various operational costs and ensure that we can maintain the quality of our programs.

   

Sign up today to become a volunteer:

• Please register on our website, or click HERE to be taken directly to that page.

• Each year from January to October, family members will have numerous opportunities to volunteer in a variety of ways. Not only will your contributions help the league, but they will also allow you to recoup that volunteer fee through your involvement.   Volunteer refunds are typically issued after the fall baseball/softball season seasons conclude

• If you would like to volunteer, please complete a volunteer registration in the regular registration portal.  If you have already registered, please visit the volunteer section on the EGGLL website to sign up as a volunteer.  

• All volunteers are required to undergo a background check along with an annual abuse awareness training.  The background check will be sent to you via email within 24 hours of registration.  Please click here to complete the required Abuse Awareness training for all volunteers.
