EGGLL is very excited to announce that we will be offering Winter Baseball Clinics. The winter clinics will run for six (6) weeks for the following age group (8-10 & 10-12). The clinics will start on Wednesday January 31st, 2024, and run until March 10th, 2024.
The clinic will be held at the Titans Facility in East Granby, CT and our league will have access to the entire facility for the full two hours. The longer sessions will allow for more in-depth coaching instruction and allow players to build their skills over the course of the 6 weeks.
Each clinic session will be capped at 20 players for each session, which will allow coaches to set up multiple stations to work on drills/skills and ultimately cutdown on player downtime. Having less players will also allow for more one-on-one instruction when time allows.
The goal for the winter clinics is as followed:
The clinics will be run by EGGLL past/current coaches who will touch on baseball hitting, fielding, throwing and base running, etc.
The clinics will also focus on developing pitchers & catchers, including proper mechanics, different pitches, arm care, framing/receiving pitches.
Throughout these clinics we also want to focus on the importance of effort & working hard, having a good attitude, being a good teammate, good sportsmanship and other metal aspect of baseball. For example: Normalizing failure in the game of baseball and how failure can often teach us how we can improve.
We want kids to enjoy themselves, have fun and walk away from these clinics feeling better prepared & excited for assessments and the 2024 baseball season.

10-12 YEAR OLD CLINIC This group is for players who will be baseball age 10-12 in the Spring 2024 season and will be playing Majors or AAA. Clinic session for this age group will be held every Wednesday from 6:30pm-8:30pm starting Wednesday January 31st, 2024, through March 6th,2024. Registration cost will be $30.00 per session.
8-10 YEAR OLD
This group is for players who will be baseball age 8-10 in the Spring 2024 season and will be playing AA. Two (2) one (1) hour clinic session for this age group will be held every Sunday from 4:00pm to 5:00pm & 5:00pm to6:00pm Starting February 4th, 2024, through March 10th,2024. Registration cost will be $15.00per session.
